The present invention relates to a reciprocating piston internal combustion engine (1), and more specifically, two-stroke large diesel engine. The engine comprises a cylinder group (GZ) composed of a plurality of cylinder liners (GZ1, GZ2) having one combustion chamber (2) and one corresponding discharge valve (3) individually. Exhaust gas (5) discharged from an exhaust gas collection pipe (4) can be supplied into an exhaust gas reactor (6) in a washing mode. Moreover, provided is supercharging units (7, 71, 72) comprising a first supercharging group (71) and a second supercharging group (72) for compressing air.
