The present invention is to provide a control method of a system for reporting speeding of a vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the system comprises: a driving information recognition unit which recognizes information of a driving road by using the current location of a vehicle and map information stored in advance; an inter-vehicle calculation unit which detects another vehicle in front of the vehicle and calculates the distance between the vehicle and the front vehicle; an image photographing unit which photographs the vehicle in front of the vehicle; and a control unit which calculates the absolute speed of the front vehicle from the calculated inter-vehicle distance, and transmits, when the calculated absolute speed is over a speed limit of the driving road, the driving information of the front vehicle to a preset report institution.
