The present invention relates to a waterproof cable gland for connecting a cable for supplying power to a tunnel with a facility where the cable is introduced. The waterproof cable gland includes: a cylindrical socket in which the cable is inserted in an axial direction to penetrate; an elastic sealing member having a cylinder part inserted in the socket and accommodating the cable in the inside, and a concave part concavely recessed around the outer circumference surface in a circumferential direction on a middle area of the cylinder part in the axial direction; and a plug, into which the cable is inserted in the axial direction to penetrate while interposing the elastic sealing member therebetween, screwed to the socket to compress the elastic sealing member in the axial direction, so that the concave part is elastically deformed in the axial center direction to closely adhere to the outer circumference surface of the cable. Accordingly, a shape and a connecting structure are simple compared to a conventional art, so that the efficiency of manufacture and assembly can be improved. |
