An image processing device and an image processing method thereof are provided. The image processing method of the image processing device comprises the following steps of: receiving image content and metadata of the image content wherein the metadata comprises flag information indicating whether to perform image processing on the image content and image processing information; determining whether to perform the image processing for each frame from the flag information; performing the image processing based on the image processing information on the image frame which is determined to have the image processing to be performed thereon; and outputting the image frame on which the image processing is performed.
