THE FREE PORTION END BECOMES A SECOND ANCHOR PORTION (103) WHICH MAY BE CONNECTED TO THE SUBSTRATE VIA SOLDERING OR PLATING. A SERIES OF INDIVIDUAL COIL STRUCTURES CAN BE JOINED VIA THEIR ANCHOR PORTIONS TO FORM INDUCTORS AND TRANSFORMERS.
