According to the present invention, when a size of a current coding unit is big enough to have a transform block capable of transform skip, a method for decoding an image comprises the following steps of: parsing a representative flag representing first information by information with regard to the coding unit wherein the first information indicates whether to skip transform of a transform block separated from the coding unit; determining whether to parse the first information based on the representative flag; inferring the first information based on the representative flag when parsing the first information is not needed and parsing the first information when parsing the first information is needed; and transforming the transform bock in accordance with the first information.
