An objective of the present invention is to repair a decrepit or damaged underground pipe line (10). The present invention provides an improved pipe line repair structure and an installation method thereof. The improved pipe line repair structure comprises: a liner (100) inserted into the pipe line (10) to position both ends thereof on both ends of the pipe line (10); and a flexible sealing material (200) installed between an outer circumferential surface of both ends of the liner (100) and an inner circumferential surface of both ends of the pipe line (10). When the flexible sealing material (200) is wound on the liner (100) folded in a U-shape, and then the liner (100) is extended using a steam injector (not shown) to tightly press the outer circumferential surface of the liner (100) on the inner circumferential surface of the pipe line (10), a gap between the outer circumferential surface of both ends of the liner (100) and the inner circumferential surface of both ends of the pipe line (10) is sealed while maintaining watertightness in the gap. |
