The present invention relates to a method for processing an SOME/IP stream through interworking AVB technology and an apparatus for the same. In a server according to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for processing a service oriented middleware over internet protocol (SOME/IP) stream through interworking audio video bridging (AVB) includes the following steps: determining a transmission method (L4-Proto) for the SOME/IP stream through an SOME/IP service search procedure; and generating an initial event message according to the determined transmission method and transmitting the generated message to a client, wherein when the determined transmission method is an L2_Frame, the SOME/IP stream can be transmitted through a second layer of the AVB. Thus, the present invention can provide a QoS guaranteed SOME/IP stream through interworking AVB.
