Disclosed are a brushless direct current (BLDC) motor and a fixing method of a stator housing thereof. The BLDC motor and the fixing method of the stator housing thereof according to the present invention are capable of obtaining work convenience and improving assembly productivity by maintaining a constant assembly angle when assembling a stator core by stacking a plurality of core segments. And, concentricity is obtained to reduce eccentricity when assembling the stator core and the stator housing, so that vibration in the external diameter of the stator core is minimized and generation of noise/vibration is suppressed, and reliability of a product is obtained by coupling the stator core and the stator housing with strong fixation power. Also, the stator core and the stator housing are fixed not with conventional adhesion or welding process but with a simple process, thereby obtaining safe working environment of a worker, improving workability and productivity, and saving costs and enhancing efficiency of production by preventing an unnecessary loss of electric power. The BLDC motor includes a stator and a rotor, wherein the stator has the stator core and the stator housing. |
