THE PRESENT DISCLOSURE RELATES TO A MOLDED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKER HAVING AN INSTANTANEOUS TRIP MECHANISM (1, 2, 3) CAPABLE OF INSTANTANEOUSLY BREAKING A CIRCUIT UPON OCCURRENCE OF A FAULT CURRENT, THE CIRCUIT BREAKER INCLUDING A MAIN CIRCUIT UNIT (21, 22, 23) PRESENT IN A LOWER CORRIPARTMENT (20) OF THE MOLDED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKER, AND CONFIGURED TO OPEN AND CLOSE A CIRCUIT BY HAVING A STATIONARY CONTACTOR (21) AND A MOVABLE CONTACTOR (22) ROTATABLE TO CONTACT OR BE SEPARATED FROM THE STATIONARY CONTACTOR (21); A SWITCHING MECHANISM (50) PRESENT IN AN UPPER COMPARTMENT (10) OF THE MOLDED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKER, AND HAVING AN OPEN POSITION WHERE THE SWITCHING MECHANISM (50) IS CONNECTED TO THE MAIN CIRCUIT UNIT (21, 22, 23) TO DRIVE THE MAIN CIRCUIT UNIT (21, 22, 23) TO OPEN A CIRCUIT, AND A CLOSING POSITION WHERE THE SWITCHING MECHANISM (50) DRIVES THE MAIN CIRCUIT UNIT (21, 22, 23) TO CLOSE A CIRCUIT; AN INSTANTANEOUS TRIP MECHANISM (1, 2, 3) PRESENT IN THE UPPER COMPARTMENT (10), AND OPERATING BY AN ELECTROMAGNETIC ATTRACTION IN RESPONSE TO GENERATION OF A FAULT CURRENT ON A CIRCUIT SO AS TO TRIGGER THE SWITCHING MECHANISM (50) TO THE OPEN POSITION; AND AN INTERMEDIATE INSULATION BARRIER (60) INSTALLED BETWEEN THE UPPER COMPARTMENT (10) AND THE LOWER COMPARTMENT (20) FOR ELECTRICAL INSULATION BY PARTITIONING THE LOWER COMPARTMENT (20) HAVING THE MAIN CIRCUIT UNIT (21, 22, 23) AND THE UPPER COMPARTMENT (10) HAVING THE INSTANTANEOUS TRIP MECHANISM (1, 2, 3) AND THE SWITCHING MECHANISM (50).
