PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser excitation solid-state laser device capable of providing an output light with reduced optical noise and stable predetermined output over a wide operation temperature range while suppressing power consumption in a single temperature control configuration, and to provide a laser light output method.SOLUTION: The semiconductor laser excitation solid-state laser device includes: a semiconductor laser for emitting an excitation light of a single longitudinal mode in which a wavelength changes step by step in accordance with an operation temperature, at a preset output value without generating a mode hop at a preset temperature; a solid-state laser module which generates an output light with a predetermined output value from the excitation light when output efficiency is maximum at the preset temperature, optical noise is equal to or less than a fixed value, and an output value of the excitation light is the preset output value; and a single temperature control device for controlling a temperature of the semiconductor laser and a temperature of the solid-state laser module. The semiconductor laser emits the excitation light of an excitation wavelength band that is set closer to a short wavelength than a peak wavelength band in which output efficiency of the solid-state laser module is becomes maximum, at the preset temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
