PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner in which a power cord can be efficiently cooled.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner comprises: a dust chamber 2 on a front part of a vacuum cleaner body 1; an electric blower 3 and a power cord storage chamber 5 for storing a power cord 4 on a rear part of the vacuum cleaner body; and an air outlet 6 formed on part of a rear side of an outline of the vacuum cleaner body 1. The electric blower 3, the power cord storage chamber 5, and the air outlet 6 are arranged on a substantially straight line, and a body partition wall 7 for partitioning the electric blower 3 and the power cord storage chamber 5 has holes 9a, 9b, 9c, 9d for communicating the electric blower 3 and the power cord storage chamber 5. Exhausted air from the electric blower 3 is exhausted to outside from the air outlet 6 via the holes 9a, 9b, 9c, 9d and the power cord storage chamber 5, so that the exhaust air flow of the electric blower 3 is smoothly blown to the power cord storage chamber 5 without residence, and the power cord 4 can be efficiently cooled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
