摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope bending operation mechanism which eliminates a failure of interrupting a maximum tilting operation state by a bending boot without increasing the size of an operational part.SOLUTION: An endoscope bending operation mechanism includes: a bending mechanism part which has a bending lever 22 which protrudes outward with respect to an operational part from an opening 27m formed on the operational part provided on a proximal end part of an insertion part which can be inserted into a subject and has a bending part that can be bent into four directions of upward, downward, rightward, and leftward directions for making tilting operation into the four directions corresponding to the four directions of the bending part and is configured to pull and loosen a bending wire having one end connected to the bending part; and a bending boot 30 which has a cylindrical shape and includes a boot plane part 31 having a through-hole 31h where an intermediate part of the bending lever 22 is arranged, a boot side peripheral part 32 which is provided with spiral recessed and protruding parts extending in an axial direction from a rear surface 31b of the boot plane part 31 to have flexibility and restoring properties, and a boot edge part 33 which is provided on the boot side peripheral part 32 and is arranged along the opening 27m.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
