PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner which facilitates attachment and detachment of an easily bending prefilter or hardly bending prefilter, and which can be easily handled.SOLUTION: An air cleaner comprises: a body capable of storing a cleaning filter unit such as a dust collection filter for collecting dust in a housing and a deodorization filter; an air suction port formed on an upstream of the cleaning filter unit; and a centrifugal fan and electrically-driven blower for taking in air from the air suction port and passing air through the filter unit, in the body. The air cleaner further comprises a structure for attaching a prefilter for collecting large dust on an outer peripheral face of the cleaning filter unit. A lock lever is switched in a vertical direction in a slide system to perform a lock and a lock release, and enables the dust collection filter and the deodorization filter inside to be removed from the inside of the air cleaner. A protrusion part for locking formed integrally with a lower side of the prefilter is inserted into a prefilter attachment recess part formed on the air cleaner, then the prefilter attachment recess part is made to serve as a fulcrum for turning the prefilter to a body side for attachment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15 |
