- 14 Abstract A transportation system (10) for recreational watercraft comprising dolly (14) and a dolly lifter (16). The dolly (14) is adapted to receive the recreational watercraft thereon. The dolly lifter (16) has lifting means (106) and at least one connection means (110), each connection means (110) adapted to form a realeasable connection to the dolly (16). The lifting means (106) is operable to lift the dolly (16) with recreational watercraft received thereon for transportation by a vehicle by way of the at least one connection means (110).
