PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage for a rolling bearing capable of easily and inexpensively adjusting rigidity of a margin (stake) without significantly changing a specification of a bearing.SOLUTION: A cage for a rolling bearing is non-separably and integrally assembled with an outer ring 2 or an inner ring 4 and rolling elements 6, or only the rolling elements, and is rotated between raceway grooves 2a, so that the rolling elements are rotated and guided into pockets 8b in the circumferential direction of a cylindrical portion 8a. The pockets are provided with through holes of opening portions 86, and a projecting portion 14 disposed on the cylindrical portion includes grooves 10 formed in an axial direction as opening expansion means at both sides in the circumferential direction of the pockets, and falling prevention means for preventing falling of the rolling elements. The grooves are formed at an outer side in the circumferential direction to the pockets with respect to margins 12, and the margins are opposed through the opening portions to narrow the pockets from the projecting portion, and have the projecting shape projected from an outer peripheral portion of the cylindrical portion in a diameter expanding direction or from an inner peripheral portion of the cylindrical portion to a diameter reducing direction, and satisfying a relationship of a>b when a width of the basic end portion continued from the projecting portion is a, and a width of a tip portion facing the opening portions is b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
