PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress transfer misalignment of a developer to a recording medium in a configuration where a rotor rotated and driven is brought into contact with an outer periphery of a circling transfer belt.SOLUTION: A transfer unit 20 includes: a driving roll 24; and a transfer belt 22; a secondary transfer roll 26 which is offset-arranged for the driving roll 24. Assuming that a coefficient of static friction between the driving roll 24 and the transfer belt 22 is μ1, the coefficient of static friction between the transfer belt 22 and the secondary transfer roll 26 is μ2, and the coefficient of static friction between the transfer belt 22 and a sheet P is μ3, the following expression is satisfied: μ1>μ2, μ1>μ3, where the transfer belt 22 is not relatively moved to the driving roll 24 and moves in accordance with a linear velocity V1 of the driving roll 24. In other words, since a state in which a linear velocity V3 of the transfer belt 22=V1 can be maintained, a defective rotation of the transfer belt 22 can be suppressed, and the transfer misalignment of a toner image G to the sheet P can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
