Activation of an icon associated with a content tag causes the system to open an application that initiates a conversation thread or threadsite between the activating device and the creator of the icon and/or tag. The system may further facilitate a transaction through the conversation thread with the creator of the content tag. The system may pre-approve tags and associated them with accounts. The accounts may include communication preference information (e.g., only via text chat, voice and text chat, time of day, location, etc.), transaction related information, such as credit card information, and other user-specific information. |
