PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shoes having a force sensor assembly connected in an operable manner to a communication port positioned in shoes.SOLUTION: An article of a footwear includes an upper member and a sole structure, and a sensor system 312 is connected to the sole structure. The sensor system includes a plurality of sensors configured to detect a force applied to a sensor 316 by a foot of a user. The sensor system further includes a port 314 configured to accept a module 322 to allow the module to communicate with the sensor. The port includes a housing 324 having a chamber configured to accept the module, and an interface 320 that is engaged with the housing, exposed to the chamber and has at least one electric contact point.
