PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-volatile memory and a manufacturing method thereof that allow for stable writing on low electric power and high-definition formation on a substrate due to printing technology.SOLUTION: A non-volatile memory which is electrically written and optically read includes a bit part printed on a substrate with ink that contains metallic microparticles, an aggregation of which changes to a metallic bulk body and fuses to increase a reflection rate at a predetermined wavelength region when a current is flowed. The manufacturing method of the non-volatile memory includes a step of printing the bit part with the ink containing the metallic microparticles and a heating step of heating the bit part to give it conductivity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
