PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus having a step in the periphery of a touch panel capable of preventing possibility of, even when a water droplet is caught by the step, erroneously detecting the water droplet as an operation made by a user.SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus includes: a housing 140; a display part which has a predetermined shape and is disposed in the housing to display predetermined information; a capacitance touch panel which has a generally predetermined shape, and which transmits the display of the display part and determines a two-dimensional coordinates indicated by an indication body which has a predetermined conductivity; and a gravity sensor 104 capable of detecting a vertical direction. The electronic apparatus also includes steps D1 and D2 which are formed along an edge of the predetermined shape, in which the inner side of the predetermined shape is formed higher and the outer side is formed lower. The touch panel has an ineffective area I1 disposed along an edge at the vertical direction side, which invalidates the two-dimensional coordinates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 28 |
