PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display control device capable of easily retrieving a desired index word even when there are many indexes of KANJI notation corresponding to word readings input by a user.SOLUTION: When a reading "KANSHI" to be investigated is input referring to a plurality of types of dictionaries d1, d2..., many index words of different notations "KANSHI(ZODIAC SIGN)", "KANSHI(OBSERVE)", "KANSHI(MONITOR)" corresponding to the reading are searched in the dictionary, and dictionary collected index word areas dm1, dm2,... collecting the referenced dictionaries are displayed in an index word list area LM for each notation.
