Provided is a polyimide solution with which it is possible to obtain a thread having a stable diameter under all conditions, which does not require a cyclisation step at a high temperature when obtaining a heat-resistant polyimide non-woven fabric, and which, furthermore, is not readily affected by the humidity of an atmosphere when manufacturing the thread by an electrospinning method. (a) A resin that contains, with respect to the entire resin, 50 mol% or more of a structural unit represented by general formula (1) and (b) a polyimide solution that contains a solvent.
