PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring a moisture content of a horny layer using a terahertz wave.SOLUTION: A moisture content measurement method for a horny layer includes a step of making a skin surface contact with a prism surface to be a terahertz wave emission surface, radiating a terahertz wave preferably having a frequency of 0.1 THz or more and 3.0 THz or less and thereby acquiring an absorption coefficient. The method uses a prism having a refractive factor of 2.0 or more, preferably 2.5 or more, and further desirably 3.0 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
