PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity sales data processing apparatus capable of using a portable information terminal for commodity sales data processing to facilitate variation of commodity sales modes and improvement of customer service.SOLUTION: A commodity sales data processing apparatus includes: a stationary docking station having storage means; and a portable information terminal which can be connected to the docking station and disconnected from the docking station. The information terminal receives input of data related to sales of commodities, processes the received data, and stores data necessary for relaying processing in the storage means of the docking station. When the information terminal is mounted on the docking station, the information terminal continuously carries out processing according to the data stored in the storage means of the docking station.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
