PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disconnection detecting apparatus which can be arranged in a distribution line with the reduced number as compared to the conventional apparatus.SOLUTION: A disconnection detecting apparatus A includes downstream side disconnection detecting means (current change vector generation section 1 and a downstream side disconnection determination section 2) for detecting disconnection on the downstream side, and upstream side disconnection detecting means (effective value calculation section 3 and an upstream side disconnection determination section 4) for detecting disconnection on the upstream side, on the basis of current signals ito irespectively detected by instrument current transformers CT1 to CT3, and voltage signals vto vrespectively detected by instrument potential transformers PT1 to PT3, the transformers being respectively arranged in three-phase distribution lines a, b, and c. By this configuration, disconnection can be detected on the upstream side of an arranged location of the apparatus, and also disconnection can be detected on the downstream side of the arranged location, thereby the number of the apparatuses to be arranged in the distribution line can be reduced as compared to that of disconnection detecting apparatuses which detect disconnection only on the upstream side or the downstream side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
