The invention relates to a device (1), comprising an electric motor (10) for supporting at least one function (12) in a motor vehicle - preferably a car - , a DC/DC converter (16) and a vehicle system controller (18), wherein the electric motor (10) is connected to an output voltage (22) of the DC/DC converter (16) which in turn is connected to a system voltage (14) of the motor vehicle so that the DC/DC converter (16) is switched between the system voltage (14) and the electric motor (10), wherein the DC/DC converter (16) is connected in addition to the vehicle system controller (18). The invention also relates to a method in which such a device is being used. |
