A progressive power lens including an object-side surface and an eye-side surface and having at least a near-vision section having a refractive power for near vision, wherein: the object-side surface includes, in the lens vertical direction, a refractive-power change that exerts a progressive power effect; the eye-side surface includes, in the lens horizontal direction, a refractive-power change that exerts a progressive power effect; if the surface refractive power in the horizontal direction is DHn, and the surface refractive power in the vertical direction is DVn, the relational expression DHn<DVn is satisfied at a near vision diopter measurement position N on the object-side surface; and the near-vision section on the eye-side surface is provided with a shaped section such that the surface refractive power in the lens vertical direction and the surface refractive power in the lens horizontal direction have inverse signs (positive/negative). |
