The present invention provides: a probe, a genetic chip, and a kit, for detecting avian influenza viruses, capable of detecting whether target avian influenza viruses are highly or lowly pathogenic, accurately, promptly, and at high sensitivity, while subtype determination and pathogenicity detection of the HA gene can be conducted at the same time; and a method for detecting avian influenza viruses using the same. According to the present invention, the risk due to the spreading of avian influenza viruses can be prevented at an early stage by detecting the serotype and pathogenicity of avian influenza viruses, which may be fatal to poultry and humans, at the same time, and providing, particularly, the technique of detecting whether the avian influenza viruses are highly or lowly pathogenic, accurately, promptly, economically, and at high sensitivity, to promptly prepare preventive measures against the avian influenza viruses.
