PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element having high luminous efficiency in which energy transfer from a host to a guest is good.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element is provided, between a pair of electrodes, with at least a monomolecular layer composed of emission center material having fluorescence, and a monomolecular layer composed of host material having carrier (electron or hole) transportability and a band gap larger than that of the emission center material (where the band gap indicates differential energy between HOMO level and LUMO level). The monomolecular layer composed of the host material and the monomolecular layer composed of the emission center material have one same interface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
