Provided is a workpiece supply device (30) and the like that, during processing of a workpiece (W), can block a processing region and, in a state in which scattering and the like of cutting fluid and the like from the processing region is suppressed, can resupply a next workpiece (W) to be processed in a workpiece (W) resupply region outside the processing region. A machine tool (100) comprises a processing chamber (2) for workpieces (W), a loader chamber (3), a dividing wall (4) that has an opening section (5), a principal shaft (10), a workpiece supply device (30), a conveyance device (20), and a discharge device (60). The workpiece supply device (30) is equipped with a workpiece holding section (31), a movement mechanism (32), a cover member (33), and a coil spring (40). During processing of a workpiece (W) in the processing chamber (2), the cover member (33) is biased by pressure from the coil spring (40) and the opening section (5) is blocked by the cover member (33) so that the workpiece holding section (31) can hold the workpiece (W) within the loader chamber (3). |
