PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to enhance convenience for a user when pressing a fold formed on a sheet.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device is equipped with: a transport part for transporting a sheet on which a fold is formed; a pressing part for pressing the fold of the sheet; an end part detection part which detects a transport direction end part of the sheet at a transport direction upstream side of the sheet with respect to the pressing part; and a setting part for setting a position of the fold. In the sheet processing device, the transport part transports the sheet with the fold formed thereon based on a set position of the fold to a position where the fold faces the pressing part, after detection of the transport direction end part, and the pressing part presses the fold of the transported sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 28
