PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic selling machine capable of easily performing sales promotion under the initiative of a manufacturer.SOLUTION: The sales promotion system using the automatic selling machine includes: an automatic selling machine; a portable terminal which is carried by a user who purchases a commodity from the automatic selling machine; and a manufacturer server which is managed by a manufacturer of the commodity which is sold by the automatic selling machine. The manufacturer server is capable of performing data communication with the automatic selling machine and the portable terminal via a network. The portable terminal is capable of performing a short-range radio communication with the automatic selling machine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
