In order to provide a road condition identification system that improves the accuracy with which road conditions are identified, the present invention comprises a road condition identification system (1) that is provided with: a plurality of vehicles (Wk) that are provided with onboard sensors (11-13), with a road condition estimating means (16) that uses vehicle information to estimate road conditions, and with a transmitting means (18) that transmits vehicle information and estimated road conditions to outside of the vehicle; a server (20) that collects the vehicle information and estimated road conditions transmitted from the vehicles (Wk); and a road condition identification device (30) that uses the collected estimated road conditions and vehicle information from the vehicles (Wk) to identify road conditions. From the estimated road conditions and vehicle information from the vehicles (Wk), road conditions at locations within a prescribed range and over a prescribed period of time are identified. |
