Provided is a magazine management device capable of efficiently managing optical disks. The magazine management device stores multiple magazines storing multiple optical disks. The magazine management device is equipped with: a chassis supporting multiple magazines; multiple partition units partitioning the chassis and thereby forming multiple regions each capable of storing one magazine; an antenna that transmits radio waves seeking a response from a wireless identifier provided in the magazines, and that receives a radio wave response transmitted from the wireless identifier; and a computation unit that receives information obtained from the received radio wave responses.
