Provided are a computing device and LED driver triggered by a power cord edge signal; the computing device comprises an edge-triggered computing unit, used for performing computations according to the edge signal trigger inputted by the power cord, and outputting computed results; a charging unit, used for providing a power level to the edge-triggered computing unit according to the edge signal inputted by the power cord; when the edge signal is high level, charging is carried out; when the edge signal is low level, discharging is carried out; an initialization unit, used for initializing the edge-triggered computing unit according to the power level. The LED driver comprises a computing device triggered by a power cord edge signal, and a drive unit used for driving an LED according to the computed result of the computing device triggered by the power cord edge signal. By using the computing device triggered by the power cord edge signal, the edge signal inputted by the power cord is computed so as to control the drive unit and in turn drive the LED to emit colorful light; only a power cord and ground cord are needed; no extra signal cords are needed, which is advantageous to the circuit implementing the LED driver chip. |
