A method for bonding a display panel (300) and an auxiliary panel (100), comprising the following steps: an adhesive tape (210) is arranged on a periphery of one of the auxiliary panel (100) and the display panel (300); colorless transparent liquid glue (220') is provided in an area enclosed by the adhesive tape (210), or the colorless transparent liquid glue (220') is provided on the other one of the auxiliary panel (100) and the display panel (300) and in an area thereof corresponding to the area enclosed by the adhesive tape (210); the display panel (300) is bonded to the auxiliary panel (100); the colorless transparent liquid glue (220') is cured in order to adhere the display panel (300) and the auxiliary panel (100) using the adhesive tape (210) and the cured colorless transparent liquid glue (220'). Also provided is a display device obtained using the method, and the display device has a higher good product rate.
