EXPANDING COUNTERMEASURE AND LAUNCHER SYSTEM Systems and methods described herein provide for the protection of personnel within vehicles (106) and structures from handheld grenades and other threats (108). According to one aspect of the disclosure provided herein, a countermeasure system (100) includes an expandable countermeasure (102) having a flexible body (402) with a number of weighted projectiles (404) attached around a perimeter of the body (402).
