摘要 Disclosed are an oxygen blowing device and a control method for the same. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the oxygen blowing device is able to prevent an arc from being generated due to a dielectric breakdown of a guide roller insulated from an oxygen pipe and the oxygen pipe by checking an insulation state of the oxygen blowing device in real time while oxygen is blown in an electric furnace. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the oxygen blowing device, which supplies the oxygen by moving the oxygen pipe into the electric furnace with a plurality of electrodes, comprises: an oxygen supply unit supplying the oxygen to the oxygen pipe; a moving unit electrically insulated from the oxygen pipe, moving the oxygen pipe into the electric furnace; a voltage detection unit detecting an arc voltage generated between the oxygen pipe and the moving unit; and a control unit detecting the arc voltage by the voltage detection unit when the oxygen is blown into the electric furnace, determining a dielectric breakdown of the oxygen blowing device in accordance with a comparison result by comparing the detected arc voltage and a reference voltage.
