PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitation unit having a simple configuration, which can agitate a liquid supplied in a desired amount and can reliably discharge a liquid including a layer with a smaller specific gravity from an agitation liquid which is generated after agitation and separated into different layers according to a specific gravity difference.SOLUTION: An agitation unit 500B comprises: an agitation tank 510 to which a liquid is supplied; an agitation member for agitating the liquid supplied to the agitation tank 510; and a discharge mechanism 540B for discharging an agitation liquid generated by agitation with the agitation member to the outside. The agitation liquid includes a first layer S1 and a second layer S2 separated into an upper layer with respect to the first layer S1 according to a specific gravity difference. The discharge mechanism 540B comprises a suction port 572 positioned in the vicinity of a boundary part between the first layer S1 and the second layer S2, and discharges the agitation liquid sucked from the suction port 572.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 18
