PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate processing in accordance with an error.SOLUTION: A server 101 is connected to a storage control apparatus 102 which makes an error response with a time-out time corresponding to an error type, with a plurality of paths. The server 101 stores path switching information indicating whether to switch a path to be used for input-output, and a timer value corresponding to an error type, in association with each other.
