PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile telephone terminal capable of detecting fault of an antenna with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A control part 140 transmits a non-modulation continuous wave CW of two waves with a predetermined frequency interval as a test signal to a transmission system 100Tx from a modulation/demodulation circuit 110 at the time of a test mode of fault detection of a main antenna 101, and thereby generates intermodulation distortion IM3 in transmission amplifiers 123 and 126 in the transmission system 100Tx. The test signal is connected to a reception system 100RxA via a duplexer 105 by switching a switch 130, and detects a level of the non-modulation continuous wave CW and the intermodulation distortion IM3 in the down-converted modulation/demodulation circuit 110. The control part 140 detects the fault of the main antenna 101 based on level difference D/U of the non-modulation continuous wave CW and intermodulation distortion IM3. The fault of a sub-antenna 102 is also detected by changing the switch 130.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
