1. A method of preparing an electrocatalyst comprising:
preparing non-carbon composite support particles comprising:
dispersing titanium dioxide in liquid and mixing;depositing ruthenium nanoparticles onto the titanium dioxide in the liquid using a ruthenium precursor, wherein the titanium dioxide has a first particle size and the ruthenium nanoparticles have a second particle size, the first particle size being greater than the second particle size;agglomerating ruthenium nanoparticles with the deposited ruthenium nanoparticles to produce an agglomerated ruthenium particle with a particle size that approximates the first particle size; andoxidizing the agglomerated ruthenium nanoparticle to obtain ruthenium dioxide; and depositing active catalyst particles on the non-carbon composite support particles. |
