An image processing device includes a detector for detecting at least one characteristic associated with a toner container installed in the image processing device. The one or more computer-readable media storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to use the at least one characteristic detected by the detector and the count data to calculate a usage ratio representing an expected number of used toner bottles and an actual number of used toner bottles to determine whether the usage ratio exceeds a usage threshold, and communicating a result of the determination when the usage ratio exceeds the usage threshold.
