A lawn mower (10) comprising: a blade housing (16) configured to house at least one blade and including an exit (24); an engine (18) supported by the blade housing (16) to selectively rotate the at least one blade; a handle assembly (32) for guiding operation of the lawn mower. In one form, a door (42) is rotatably arranged to have a first rest position in contact with a bagging attachment (40) disposed to receive clippings from the blade housing (16) and a second rest position proximate to the blade housing when the bagging attachment (40) is removed and a bag lifting assembly (400) configured to lift the door (42) from the first rest position responsive to rotation of the handle assembly (32) forward from an operating position.
