PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a short range radio device and an audio apparatus, capable of simplifying a processing procedure of displaying identifiably a device name existed in a communication range of short-range radio communication.SOLUTION: An audio apparatus performs radio communication compliant with a smartphone and Bluetooth. On the other hand, when the audio apparatus is switched into a rename mode by an administrator, a friendly name obtained by adding the last 3 digits of Bluetooth address to a head of a device name is set. The audio apparatus sends the renamed friendly name in response to a remote name request (RNR) command from the smartphone.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
