PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle apparatus operation device capable of operating a specific on-vehicle apparatus using a finger gesture that can be easily detected while minimizing deviation of the line of sight of a driver from the front.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle apparatus operation device includes a gesture sensor 15 for detecting a finger gesture that suggests operations of on-vehicle apparatuses 9, 11, and 13 performed in a detection area δ which is an area including a steering wheel 3 of the vehicle and the periphery of the steering wheel, and a control part 17 for recognizing the gesture detected by the gesture sensor as operation information for operating a specific on-vehicle apparatus, and outputting an operation signal for operating the specific on-vehicle apparatus. By this configuration, when a driver performs a gesture that suggests an operation of on-vehicle apparatus by a finger near the steering wheel while gazing ahead of the vehicle, the on-vehicle apparatus specified by the gesture is operated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
