PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress rotation of a roller to prevent abnormal abrasion and seizure of the roller and a cam in a fuel supply pump.SOLUTION: A fuel supply pump includes flange portions 25 disposed on a cam 3 in a state of being opposed to both ends in a rotating shaft direction, of a roller 4 respectively through clearances. Side faces of the flange portions 25 opposed to the roller 4 and end faces in the rotating shaft direction of the roller 4 opposed to the side faces are magnetized in the same polarity. As magnetic repulsive force generates between the roller 4 and the side faces 25a, 25b of the flange portions 25, contact is prevented by magnetic repulsive force even when the roller 4 is rotated to be close to the side faces 25a, 25b of the flange portion 25, and moment in a direction opposite to the rotation generates, thus the rotation of the roller 4 is suppressed, and abnormal abrasion and seizure of the roller 4 and the cam 3 can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
