PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration even in a case where a rotor rotates at high speed in a rotary machine.SOLUTION: A vibration control method of a rotary machine includes a rotor rotating around a rotational shaft, a stator provided on the outer periphery of the rotor, and a heating device provided inside the stator and arranged oppositely to the rotor. The vibration control method detects vibration of the rotor with a sensor; calculates a phase and heating amount for heating the rotor with the heating device at a period corresponding to the vibration period of the rotor, on the basis of the detected vibration; and heats the rotor with the heating device for deformation, on the basis of the calculated phase and heating amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
