a light emitting unit including a monochromatic light source configured to emit light having a predetermined color, and a wavelength conversion element configured to generate white light from the light emitted by the monochromatic light source; a spectrum detection unit configured to detect a first spectrum distribution from the light emitted by the monochromatic light source, and detect a second spectrum distribution from the white light; and a controller configured to compare the first spectrum distribution and the second spectrum distribution with a first reference spectrum distribution and a second reference spectrum distribution, respectively, and adjust at least one of a wavelength and an intensity of the light emitted by the monochromatic light source.
